The Pavilion is the pretty little building between the Château and the Kitchen Garden, covered in deep pink climbing roses. The Suite is on the first floor of the building, access being via exterior stairs. Many artists stayed and used the Pavilion as a studio during the 1800s, and the house retains some of this artistic ambience. There is a huge window in the main bedroom/living area that overlooks the lion fountain and the Château. The room features a mysterious artefact set into the wall, probably plundered from the Abbey at Grandmont, once the second largest in the world, until its destruction during the Revolution.
The accommodation comprises a main living area/bedroom, with a double bed and niche for a cot, as well as a separate bedroom with twin beds, and a stylish modern bathroom, with a bath and separate shower. There is beautiful chestnut flooring throughout, complementing the classic French cherrywood bedroom suite. An extra bed and/or cot can be added on request.
