There is an entrance hall leading into the living area that has lovely long low windows, through which dappled sunshine plays as you relax on the sofa. A further corridor with a skylight leads to the main bedroom, situated in the large octagonal
tower, lending an air of the romance of yesteryear.
It is decorated in a simple art deco style. The impressive
beams of the living area are exposed and give a real
“castle” feel to the suite.
There is a modern
bathroom, part of which is situated in the tower. The bathroom has a very large shower, but does not have a bath. There is a double bed in the main bedroom, and the sofa coverts into a (slatted) sofabed. A cot can easily be added to either room.
For larger family groups, we suggest that the Beamed Suite and the Governess Room be booked together to add an extra double bed and bathroom. This works very well since there is a connecting door between the rooms.
